Finger painting

More accurately it is hand-face-feet-booty painting! He seemed to get into it as soon as he realized that the toy was the paint not the tub of paint!

Chuck E Cheese

We went to chuck e cheese on Monday with some friends from church and their kids. James is big buddies with their two boys and the boys just love Jonathan. James played the games (or tried to) and we had enough tickets in the end to get a blow up hammer and a blue crazy straw! I can't believe we are the parents a chuck e cheese already!

Park Day

We went to the greatest park! It was more of a reserve than a park, it was huge and very fun. We got to see turtles and fish and run in the grass! So by James's standards it was a winner!

James got to go to a bible class last Sunday and made us a picture! so sweet! So here is the very first kids art work on our fridge ;)

Watermelon Festival

We went to the watermelon festival last weekend and though there was no watermelon to be found, at least by us, we had a really great time. There were really cool cars(it should really be the Car Festival!) and carnival foods :)
Though it was hot and we all got a little sweaty, a good time was had by one and all!

I am taking year old pictures! We are off to a good start! :) I want a couple more "settings" and then all I have to do is pick the best....sooooo hard!

James's Birthday Party

James had so much fun with his cousins! They played so hard that by the time we got to the cake part he was so tired he was near tears! Good memories! hehe!
I don't have pictures of the singing and candle blowing out, I will have to get them from one of the many other cameras flashing away ;)

Manly Man

Jonathan being a manly man and working on the car! ;) so cute! He took out some part and had it fixed then put it back...what a big boy!

My little Hobo

To be honest he didn't actually fall asleep in there. He kept crawling in and snuggling up, trying to fall asleep. So rocked him and then set him back in his box fort ;)

Laughing at Daddy

He gets so tickled at this noise that Jonathan is making! It is just hysterical! You can also get a really good view of his top teeth, he now has all four top teeth in and another one on bottom.

Fourth of July!

I love holidays so even though James had to hit the hay before the really Fourth of July festivities started I wanted to do something and get some pictures. He liked the glasses and beads, and surprisingly he wasn't afraid of the poppers or streamer guns! :)

Pillow Pit

James is very into his stuffed animals and really anything soft and fluffy. So we build ourselves a pillow pit. It is all the couch pillows and his animals. It is so sweet. He throws them around and lays on them. He is also in a stomping-on-things phase, you can see him stomping on his white puppy in the second picture!;)
After these pictures I gave him one of his books and he lounged around in the pit looking at his book...he is definitely takes after his mommy!

Moving!

We are packing up and moving out! Wagons Ho!!
We are heading out to Russellville Alabama! So I am sure that the next few weeks will be a blur of packing tape and bubble wrap. We are scheduled to be in Alabama by Aug. 1st but we will probable arrive a week or so before that.
Wish us luck...1 house full of stuff, 2 cars, 2 adults, 1 baby, 2 cats and 1800 miles!

Jonathan and James's yell-off

Jon and James were yelling back and forth and it was so cute that I ran for the camera in time to catch the ace in the hole James had in store for victory! haha!!!!! I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath!!!!

Walking video!

So I have finally gotten a video of James walking up here for my peeps! ;) The one that I kept trying to download was apparently to long and so I took a new one that is much shorter, so hopefully this will work better! (and shows our wonderfully messy house...toys, toys and more toys!)

found these baby shower pictures! It is so odd to see myself pregnant after so long! And as I was telling Jon about some of the pictures(I left those out!), it confirms that i don't ever need to get fat! haha

James's Great Escape!

Now that I have recorded it I have to get him to stop doing it! haha! So far "NO!" is working well...maybe he will forget he can do it! ;) I doubt it though, he just loves the outdoors. Today we put on our new size 3 tennie shoes and played in the dirt! ahhh boys ;)
