Kitchen

So here are the Before and After shots of the kitchen. I forgot (as usual) to take before pictures so I had to dig up some other pictures that show the kitchen. So pardon the mess!!! and let me know what you think. It still needs either a 4th coat (evil red!!!) or I am also thinking of doing a faux finish to antique it a little. The back splash that I am planning to do will have more of an antique look, so i will probably just do some sort of antiquing instead of another coat. :) Also I am putting up some paintable wallpaper that will look like bead board below the chair rail and will be painting that an off white....so really these are the before and middle pictures not before and after! haha

The base coat and you can also see the mint blue/green ceiling. I am so happy that is gone!;)

I really think the red looks good and cuts down on the orange look of the cabinets. It is going to look even better with the finish on it and the backsplash. It will be the tin ceiling tile look, white with silver coming through! So excited!

This is one of the centerpieces for the party. I added some little painted pumpkins and pine cones. I think it is cute and shiny.

Lillian's 4-D

4-D pictures of Lillian!!!! So sweet! I can't wait to see her in person!

Scrapbooking

So! It is a lot harder than i thought it would be to get a craft done everyday! ahh! especially when all the craft store are 30 mins away and naptime seems to always make me leave the store before i am done shopping. humph! Well maybe I just need to learn to shop faster...hehe
But I have to get several more things done before the Halloween party (must buy pumpkins!) and Lillian's due date is looking closer and closer and her room is FAR from done!

Monkey costume

I have now finished both our costumes for Halloween! yippy! They both turned out great! I am not going to let you see james in his till I post the Halloween pictures! *evil laugh* Here is a picture of the costume on the hanger.

Tombstones

Tombstones for my halloween graveyard decorations. I did it a few years ago and it turned out really great. This year i am doing more and bigger ones.















I cut out the shape and then run a black marker along the outside. Then I make crack lines and add the RIP and humorous epitaph. For the party i will be make a black picket fence on a black wall with streamers and arrange the headstones in the background.

Tutu

Made a cute little tutu for Lillian. I made it larger than newborn so I could fit it to her when she gets here, even still I don't think she will be able to wear it out for a good while. I am planning to take some of her newborn pictures in it. Hopefully it will be all fluffy and cute in the pictures!

Day ummmm 3....

I have been thinking and planning the craft that I will do for October and October totally crept up on me! HAHA! Oh well, to make up for it here are the crafts that I meant to post on the 1st and the 2nd as well has the one for today!
