Spring Wreaths
My parents just moved closer to us *insert happy dance* and I wanted to get my mom something fun for a house warming gift. After much consideration I landed on a fun spring wreath with navy blue, that is her favorite color.
After a search on old faithful Pinterest and a trip to The Mother Ship (hobby lobby), I came up with two wreaths for her to pick from.
What do you think? She chose the navy striped one and the other fab wreath is up in the etsy store!

It's Grim Coffee and Tea over at Etsy
I am really enjoying making these Harry Potter coffee cups and the reception has been really great! I am also planning some Zombie coffee cups, so be looking out for those. I think that my Etsy store is going to be taking on a distinctly Geeky flavor, and I love it!
Check these out and more, at My Crafty Momma

Magnetic Paper Dolls
I have a great project for a rainy day. You and your little girl can have a blast making and playing with these magnetic paper dolls!
Supply list:
Betsy McCall Paper Dolls
Sticky backed magnetic sheet (any craft store)
Scissors
Printer
Paper (thick paper is best)
With the above Betsy McCall link you can download as many paper dolls and from whatever era of fashion you want! It is super fun to look at all of the funky paper dolls from the 50s and 60s.
I put mine into paint and cut and pasted them closer together and then printed the off on cardstock paper.
Once you have them printed off cut them out with a nice thick white boarder and stick them to your magnetic sheet.
Then, cut them out creating a thinner white boarder. It is alot easier to cut if you cut on both paper and magnetic sheet, and I think having a white boarder on the finished look looks the best.
You can use them on the fridge, an old mint canister or get creative on a thin sheet of metel. I am planning some kind of framed metal sheet so I can incorperate a bed and other household items.

Miss-matched painted toddler shoes
Oh what a little creativity and a cheep mommy can do!
I love the Chooze brand of miss-matched kids shoes but I am so not paying 45.00 bucks for kids shoes! Yes, yes I know I am cheep!
Anyway! I ran across some white canvas Mary Jane style shoes at hobby lobby and decided to get crafty with my bad self and make some!
Cut to an hour later and a paint pen fume headache, and "voila!" fabulous shoes!!
All you need are some canvas shoes (hobby lobby), paint pens, and some clear spray paint sealer.
As a side note the paint pens can bless so watch that and don't get the spray on the soles, it makes them super sticky

You're a cute one, Mr Grinch!
My little ruffled Grinch!
I adore this fabric! It is so fun, and even though the Grinch didn't actually say "Bah Humbug" I think he and Scrooge would get along...or not get along...getting along seems like something happy people do, not storybook grumps!
Anyway, check out my little Grump on my Etsy page and get one for your little Grinch!
Merry Grinchmas!!!

Back in action!
I super enjoyed our little vacation home to Texas, but I am glad to be back home in Alabama!
I hit the ground running on Christmas stock for the Etsy store. A wreath and paper ornaments, next are clay ornaments and a Christmas dress. ;)
Enjoy the pretty...

Halloween dress!
Finally got my little model to agree to show off my new dress, you can see the blatant use of bribery!
I really think it turned out great! It is my own pattern and super fabulous, if I do say so myself!
Check it out on my Etsy and order one for you little bit!

wreaths
Yarn Wreath
It is harder than you think to wrap a wreath in yarn!
I didn't take step by step pictures of this one, but basically it is a wreath and foam balls wrapped in yarn, and Christmas tree balls. Hot glue it and add your snowflake and you are good to go!
Paper Leaf Wreath
Trace out leafs on at least 8 pieces of scrapbook paper
Hot glue strips of scrapbook paper to the outside of foam wreath and hot glue on leaves
Use a ribbon to add a hanger to back
