Fourth of July!

I love holidays so even though James had to hit the hay before the really Fourth of July festivities started I wanted to do something and get some pictures. He liked the glasses and beads, and surprisingly he wasn't afraid of the poppers or streamer guns! :)

Pillow Pit

James is very into his stuffed animals and really anything soft and fluffy. So we build ourselves a pillow pit. It is all the couch pillows and his animals. It is so sweet. He throws them around and lays on them. He is also in a stomping-on-things phase, you can see him stomping on his white puppy in the second picture!;)
After these pictures I gave him one of his books and he lounged around in the pit looking at his book...he is definitely takes after his mommy!

Moving!

We are packing up and moving out! Wagons Ho!!
We are heading out to Russellville Alabama! So I am sure that the next few weeks will be a blur of packing tape and bubble wrap. We are scheduled to be in Alabama by Aug. 1st but we will probable arrive a week or so before that.
Wish us luck...1 house full of stuff, 2 cars, 2 adults, 1 baby, 2 cats and 1800 miles!

Jonathan and James's yell-off

Jon and James were yelling back and forth and it was so cute that I ran for the camera in time to catch the ace in the hole James had in store for victory! haha!!!!! I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath!!!!

Walking video!

So I have finally gotten a video of James walking up here for my peeps! ;) The one that I kept trying to download was apparently to long and so I took a new one that is much shorter, so hopefully this will work better! (and shows our wonderfully messy house...toys, toys and more toys!)

James's Great Escape!

Now that I have recorded it I have to get him to stop doing it! haha! So far "NO!" is working well...maybe he will forget he can do it! ;) I doubt it though, he just loves the outdoors. Today we put on our new size 3 tennie shoes and played in the dirt! ahhh boys ;)

We were gone for soooo long! but we are home sweet home now!

James Dancing

James loves music and dances all day long! We have been trying to capture some of this dancing, but he also loves the video camera and gets distracted from whatever he may be doing to look at it. SO it is hard to get anything! haha

He is so good and crawling and likes to roam through the tables legs. Which i love because i remember Wesley and I doing the same thing when this table was Gigi's!

Big Box Delights!

James in his fort! He really does like it! It is a box that mom and dad sent his new toys in, including the big golden dog that you can see in front of the box, fluppy dog. It is so cute how much he likes the dog and knows its' name!

Questions

I have gotten a few questions about the last cake that i did so i am posting the answers! The fence is made of an edible sugar material called fondant. It is like play-doh. The handle of the basket is also made of fondant, and the flowers are a mix of fondant and another play-doh like substance called sugar paste.

The eggs are just colored hard boiled eggs. (so everything is still edible...though i wouldn't eat it all together, ewww!)

I am glad that everyone liked it!

2 super cool videos of my super smart baby!!

The first is him learning how to work a new toy...sorry about the shoddy camera work!! I was trying to clap and hold the camera, i think he likes the clapping more than he likes the ball making the toy make noise! Anyway, he is a smarty pants

This one is the one we have all been waiting for! And by we I really mean me!!hehe James CRAWLING!!! Hurrah! And he is already a much happier camper! He loves being about to move around!
